Waiting List

Creating an active reservation for a customer’s desired dates is not always possible, and customers may not always find their preferred timeslot available. This could be due to the timeslot being fully booked or not being available at the desired time. Similarly, certain circumstances may hinder immediate adjustments to an active reservation in response to a customer’s request. To address this, you have the option to enable the Waiting List feature in your admin dashboard, which allows customers to book a timeslot that is already reserved. If the requested timeslot becomes available for the desired dates, the reservation may be accepted and the customer will receive a payment link. In essence, the Waiting List feature enables customers to book a busy timeslot and join a waitlist, making it a valuable and convenient feature in various situations.

To activate the Waiting List functionality, proceed to the General Settings section within the Settings menu and select the Waiting List option to enable it.

Once the Waiting List feature is activated, the booking calendar will display the already reserved timeslots, allowing customers to add themselves to a waitlist by booking these slots.

Customers can confirm their appointments for these timeslots without making any payment. The booking process does not require any payment and the appointment will remain in the “Waiting” status in the Appointments table.

Upon the availability of a timeslot, individuals will be notified through a payment link. Additionally, an additional event has been incorporated into the Waiting List Workflow. This event will be activated when a previously reserved timeslot is relinquished due to cancellations by existing customers. Its purpose is to alert the staff regarding the released timeslot, enabling them to assign another customer from the waitlist to fill the vacancy.
