Telegram Notifications

The Telegram Bot provides immediate updates on e-Janji activities by sending Telegram notifications to you or your staff members. It is important to note that this feature is not designed for customers, therefore it cannot send Telegram notifications to them. However, it offers a convenient way to notify your staff members. With the integration of automation and notification features into the Workflow, it is recommended to use this integration in conjunction with Workflow.

To commence, locate the BotFather on Telegram and initiate a conversation.

Upon initiating a chat, a range of commands will be presented to you. In order to generate a new bot, it is imperative that you input the command /newbot to the BotFather.

Afterward, it is necessary to assign a name to your BOT. Simply enter and forward the Bot name to the BotFather.

After creating your bot, it is important to assign a username to it. Please note that the username of your BOT must end with _bot. Therefore, kindly ensure that you add _bot at the end of the username you choose. For instance, eJanji_notifier_bot is an appropriate example of a BOT username.

Now, the BOT is prepared! Duplicate the token and insert it into Telegram Bot token field.

Proceed to the Workflow module and establish a fresh workflow. Opt for the “Send Telegram message” as the designated action.

Click “Set up”

Upon clicking the “To” section, a message indicating “No results found” may appear. However, there is no need to fret as the solution lies in completing the final step.

Locate your BOT on Telegram and initiate a conversation by typing any message in the chat.

Afterward, verify the Workflow once more. Subsequently, you will have the capability to choose yourself in the “To” category.

In order for staff members to receive notifications, they must locate this BOT on Telegram and engage in a conversation by writing any message. Consequently, their Telegram names will be displayed in the “To” section.

Create a template and save the workflow accordingly. Proceed to schedule a test appointment and verify the functionality.

The BOT is now fully prepared to instantly notify you, as all necessary tasks have been completed.
