Payment Links
In the business world, it is not always ideal to require customers to pay the full amount upfront when making a booking. Sometimes, it is more suitable to collect a partial payment as a deposit, with the remaining balance due once the appointment is confirmed. However, in these situations, it can be challenging to obtain the remaining amount, especially for online-only businesses that do not have a physical location. Online payments become the only way to receive customer payments in such cases.
It is now possible to send payment links to your clients to ensure that any outstanding payments can be settled. For instance, if your customer has a recurring appointment and only wishes to pay for the first session, you can send them a payment link for the remaining appointments prior to the scheduled date. With the reminder function, you can easily send the payment link to your client by selecting options such as one day or one hour before the appointment. This payment link feature is available for all payment methods, and you can generate links for any payment method of your choice, including Stripe or Paypal, and forward them to your clients.
Payment links can be generated either manually through the admin dashboard or automatically through Workflows and sent to customers. To manually create a payment link, simply select the preferred payment method from the Appointment info section below and a payment template will be generated based on the due amount for the appointment.
In addition, Workflow offers unique Dynamic contents for sending payment links, with each payment method having its own tag. These tags are listed below and can be incorporated into the Workflow module to perform the intended action. Moreover, you can also add these Dynamic contents to your Invoice.
To display the payment links for different payment methods, use the following Dynamic contents: {appointment_payment_link_stripe} for Stripe payment, {appointment_payment_link_paypal} for Paypal payment.
